There’s a stillness in

Goodbyes, pause of reflection

Brief or lingering

Before grief or gratitude

Take stage…tears, perhaps embrace

Breaths catch, hearts stutter

Wordless wondering “what’s next”

Tomorrow slip-slides ‘mid Past
