Decades ago, to be dazzling
Beauty was key that opened
The best doors
Or so I believed…
Good looks had power
To take you places
Career advancement
VIP events
Parties, friends… Love
The World’s values
Are deceitful
Illusion
Quicksilver
“Dazzling” was a pit
I fell into
And nearly died
