I haven’t done Share Your World in years, but it’s so dang HOT, what else is there to do?  The link above will take readers to the challenge info and invitation—pour a glass of ice tea over your head and check it out😉  Basically, it works like this:  the host asks questions—we who accept the challenge, answer them.

QUESTIONS

Do you ever feel more excited about getting the package in the mail, rather than the item that’s in it?

No—unless the package is delivered to my door so I don’t have to trek down to the mailbox.

What is the difference between your ideal self and your real self?  (i.e. what attribute or physical feature would allow you feel the ideal ‘you’?)

Ideally, I’d still look 50…slender, Natalie Wood beautiful (those days are forever dead).  My ideal self would be mellow (sweet never-ruffled Bible-hugging church lady)—instead of not-mellow, i.e., edgy, impatient, critical, subject to irritability, rants, unstable moods, and a frown that makes demons flee.

If you found $2,000 on the ground and there were no witnesses, what would you do with it?

Are you crazy?  I’d grab it!  (And then think about reporting the find—truly willing to return it…after all, God always has His eye on me!)

Are you ever morally obliged to take action? Under what circumstances?

Fortunately, I don’t recall being in a situation where the question arose.  Like many people, I lack courage to “take action” because retaliation is a serious possibility in these increasingly violent times.  But until you’re smack in the middle of a moral dilemma, you don’t know with certainty how you’ll respond—I might suddenly be anointed with holy boldness and become a force to be reckoned with.  (It could happen😉)

Gratitudes:  I’m ever grateful to the faithful (“Way Maker”) wow-God who’s with me in this fiery furnace heatwave—and thankful, blessed that He’s provided a patient woman as my caregiver twice a week.  Tomorrow she’ll drive me anywhere there’s A/C!
